12 killed in Kashmir

SRINAGAR, Dec 3: Nine more people were killed in occupied Kashmir, as a truce between Pakistan and India on LoC entered its eighth day on Wednesday.

Two militants and an Indian soldier were killed in a fierce encounter in the village of Kharpora on Tuesday night.

Indian troops claimed killing three more militants in the Beholi village of Doda.

Suspected militants shot dead a former colleague in the Pulwama district, while a member of Ikhwan was killed in the district of Budgam, the spokesman said.

Police recovered a bullet-riddled body in the Rajouri district on Tuesday.—AFP
