Aga Khan due in Chitral

PESHAWAR, Dec 2: Prince Karim Aga Khan, the spiritual leader of Ismailis, will go to Chitral on a day-long visit on Thursday.

The prince will also go to Garm Chashma and Booni and meet his followers, according to a statement issued here on Tuesday.

Thousands of Ismailis have arrived at Garm Chashma and Booni to see their leader, who is paying this visit after 16 years.

On arrival at Chitral airport, Aga Khan will be received, among others, by District Nazim Shahzada Mohiuddin, civil and military officials and community leaders.

The Chitral district government has invited the heads of all political parties and elected representatives to receive the guest and attend the luncheon being arranged in his honour.
