Construction in DHA

Published August 13, 2016

I HAVE a house in DHA Phase VIII. The plot of land was bought in 2010 and construction was allowed some time later which was completed in 2014. It’s now two years since the construction was completed but I am still waiting to get electricity and gas connections.

The question is, if DHA authorities could not ensure electricity and gas supplies to the area, why did they allow construction in the first place? Umpteenth visits have been made to the DHA office in the last two years but every time I am told that I’ll be given an electricity connection in ten days/three months/six months. This is too much now.

The DHA, before establishing new prestigious projects like DHA City, should first see if they have delivered properly to the residents of the previous projects. I request the authorities concerned to please look into this matter and have it resolved.
