Published December 2, 2003

LAHORE, Dec 1: Pakistan team for the New Zealand tour will be announced after the third One-day International at Faisalabad on Dec 3.

Pakistan is touring New Zealand in December-January to play two Test and five One-day match series.

Chief selector Aamir Sohail said that the team’s selection would be made keeping in view the performances of the players in the ongoing series against the Kiwis.

The departure of the Pakistan team to New Zealand is to be confirmed as there will be slight change in the itinerary.

Sohail said that Pakistan won both the opening matches but the performance in the first, which Pakistan won by three wickets was not convincing.
