UBL BRANCH: Residents of Mehran, University, PTCL and other colonies and traders and government servants will have to face a lot of difficulties due to the closure of the Sakrand road branch of the United Bank.

The branch covers a large area, including the above mentioned areas as well as the local industrial zone.

The management of the bank had decided to reduce its network by closing several branches in the country including the Nawabshah branch, which is running in profit.

A UBL official told this correspondent that District Nazim Faryal Talpur and MNA Dr Azra Pechuho had assured the bank clients and staff that they would ask the UBL management to review the decision.
