KARACHI: A worker of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement was shot dead in a suspected targeted attack in Korangi in the early hours of Sunday morning, Zaman Town police said.

They added that Faisal, alias Maindak, 35, was sitting near a mosque in Sector 51-C, Korangi, when gunmen on a motorbike attacked him and rode away. Seriously wounded, he was rushed to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where doctors pronounced him dead.

Zaman Town SHO Shah Jehan Lashari said the victim was affiliated with the MQM.
