TAXILA: Naat khawan and recipient of Pride of Performance Syed Manzoor-ul-Konain died after protracted illness at a local hospital on Tuesday. He was 69.

His Naat Le Jo Muhammad ka Naam got international fame. He recited Naats on radio as well as television.

On Tuesday evening his body was shifted to his house located on Hashmi Street, Post Office Road Lala Rukh Colony Wah Cantt. His Namaz-e-Janaza would be offered at central mosque Wah Cantt after Zohr prayers on Wednesday.
