RAWALPINDI: Four burglaries reported

RAWALPINDI, Nov 29: Four incidents of burglary and one of motorcycle-lifting was reported to the police on Saturday, the crime statement said. The statement also mentioned an abduction case.

A foreigner, Jew Jacking, reported to the Airport police station that some burglars broke into his house in Chaklala Scheme III during night hours and made away with Rs400,000, a gold necklace and a ring.

In another incident, burglars entered the house of Safdar in Chishtiabad and decamped with Rs55,000, gold ornaments, a 30-bore pistol and a television set.

Burglars stole 35 wooden sleepers from the godown of Noor Zada on Dhamial Road and escaped.

One Mehboob filed a complaint with the police stating that some thieves stole gold ornaments and clothes from his home and escaped.

One Shafqat reported to the police that someone stole his Honda 125 motorcycle (IDT-1705) from his house in Dhoke Khaba.

Meanwhile, one Sagheer reported to the police that his uncle, a taxi driver, had been abducted. He said Shakeel, Afzal and Shabbir hired his uncle’s taxi for Nowshera a few days back but he did not turn up.
