PESHAWAR, Nov 29: The launching ceremony of Kaali Dhup, a Hindko poetic collection by an eminent poet Farigh Bokhari will be held on Dec 2 (Tuesday) at Khana-i-Farhang-i- Islami Jamhoori Iran, Peshawar.

The function will be held under the aegis of the Gandhara Hindko Board, Peshawar. Prominent Urdu poet Ahmad Faraz will preside over the event, says a press release issued here on Saturday. Senior NWFP minister Sirajul Haq will be the chief guest, while a member of the provincial assembly from the Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians Syed Zahir Ali Shah will be the  guest of honour.

Prof Khatir Ghaznavi, a noted Hindko/Urdu poet, Prof Nasir Ali Syed, Yousaf Raja Chishti and a former provincial minister Syed Qamar Abbas will speak on the life and literary works of late Meer Ahmad Shah.

The preface of the book has been written by the son of the poet, Syed Qamar Abbas, a PPPP leader.
