Jamali calls on Musharraf

ISLAMABAD, Nov 28: President Gen Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali on Wednesday expressed the hope that Pakistan’s initiative of ceasefire would usher a new era of peace and prosperity in South Asia.

The views were expressed when Prime Minister Jamali called on President Musharraf at the Aiwan-i-Sadr and exchanged Eid greetings with him.

The president and the prime minister noted with satisfaction that Ramazan had passed peacefully, promoting tolerance, unity and national harmony and for this they congratulated the nation.
