JACOBABAD, Nov 28: A bomb went off near the main gate of the city police station, Jacobabad, on Thursday as a result of which a shop was damaged while the window panes of the post office were smashed.

Being Eid all the shops were closed and nobody was present there as a result of which no loss of life or injury was reported. The police cordoned off the area after the blast.

Rangers and army officials too reached the site of the blast.

A bomb disposal team was called which after inspecting the site said that it was a time bomb weighing 10lbs at least. It took some material from there for further investigation.

Their bodies were taken to the Taluka Hospital, Thul, for an autopsy.
