KHYBER Pakhtunkhwa has been accusing the federal government time and again of doing nothing for the welfare of the province, but it itself has been engaged in political point-scoring while core problems of the public have not yet been addressed.

The provincial government has recently announced an outlay of Rs200m for the welfare of the transgender community, but no fund has yet been allocated. To be honest, the government is not serious.

On the contrary, the KP government announced a huge amount to the tune of Rs300m for Daar-ul-Uloom Haqqania, Nowshera, while ignoring the other seminaries in the province. The said amount should have been equally given away to all the seminaries of the province.
