PROMINENT folk singer Allah Dino Khaskheli died in a car accident near Tando Allahyar on June 23. With his death, Sindh has lost another melodious voice.

Allah Dino possessed a rare tenor and was well-versed in the art of semi- classical and classical singing. He received his early training in the art of singing from his father Ali Mohammad, (who was also a beautiful folk singer) and Ustad Juman.

He has given some very beautiful songs to the people of Sindh. Sheikh Ayaz, Ustad Bokhari, Ibrahim Munshi, Ghulam Hussain Rangrez, Survech Sujawali and Akash Ansari were his favourite poets and he lent his voice to their works. His renditions will remain with the people of Sindh for long.
