Four of a family Found murdered

SHEIKHUPURA, Nov 24: Four members of a family were tortured to death by unidentified people in Sherokay village early on Monday.

Farooqabad Sadar police said the bodies of grocer Sadiq alias Badho, 60, his wife Maqsooda, 45, daughter Shazia alias Shahzadi, 17, and son Shan Ali, 15, a Class Six student were found with stab wounds, while his elder son Allah Ditta, 20, survived as he was not present in the house.

Police claimed that Allah Ditta was a drug addict remained absent from the home for several days. Sadiq’s daughter Shama Parveen was married and lived in Daska, they added.

They said the incident was the result of an old enmity, while the area people claimed that it was a terrorist incident.

Their neighbours told this scribe that Shazia was to be married after Eid.

They said they got suspicious when they found the main gate of Sadiq’s house open. They entered the house and found them dead.

They said the bodies of Sadiq and his daughter were found separate, while the bodies of Maqsooda and Shan found on one bed.
