Good news! Some of us always crib about the ‘foreign content’ that’s constantly aired on our entertainment channels. Well, their complaint has been redressed.

Two of Pakistan’s music channels 8XM and Jalwa have decided to ‘run an extensive array of Pakistani musical content on their screens in a sincere attempt to support and promote the Pakistan music industry’. It does not end here. They also intend to help out our film-makers who wish to showcase their songs (videos or film tracks) to reach a wider audience. Cool!

The thing that remains to be discussed is how many Pakistani artists prefer their TV networks to their foreign counterparts.
