Road repairs

Published June 11, 2016

THE streets of Cavalry Ground (extension Lahore Cantt), which include houses from Street Nos. 14 to 17, were recently enclosed by a wall, giving them a secured look from outside.

It was left with a total of three outlets — two on Shami Road and one towards the end of Street 14, which is mostly used by people going towards the Jinnah flyover.

This route, used by many people, is under bad conditions as road-building material is lying on it, almost blocking it.

The renovation work had been started on the road but was not completed as workers left just after a day. Traffic jams are caused because of it.

Besides, there is no proper system for the disposal of garbage. Most people throw garbage on the road.
