HYDERABAD, Nov 22: The election committee of the Sindhi Adabi Sangat at a meeting held here on Friday approved all the nomination papers filed by writers for different posts after scrutinizing the same.

Nisar Hussaini, Taj Joyo, Zulfiqar Siyal, Dargahi Gabol, Riazat Buriro and S. G. Bhagiya, have filed papers for the post of secretary-general.

For the post of joint secretary, Mansoor Mangi, Mushtaq Bukhari, Asghar Sujaag, Noor Chakrani, Nabi Bux Premi, Zulfiqar Siyal, Murtaza Siyal, Juman Ahmadani, Ibrahim Kharal, Azad Anwar Kandhro and Riazat Buriro have filed papers.

Those who have filed papers for the post of treasure included Abdul Ghaffar Daudpoto, Mumtaz Sehrai, Asif Mithianvi, Zakir Hussain Khatti, Sikandar Magsi, Mashooq Dharejo, Mansoor Qadir Junejo, Azad Anwar Kandhro and Ghulam Mohammad Ghazi.

Mashooq Dharejo, Sajad Merani, Dr Mushtaq Phul, Noor Chakrani, Bashir Mangi, Abdul Hayee Bhutto, Zubair Soomro, Fakir Mohammad Unnar and Azad Anwar Kandhro have filed forms for the post of auditor.

Those who have filed papers for the posts of district coordination secretaries included Razak Mastoi and Jabbar Mallah (Naushahro Feroze), Ali Mohammad Talpur and Juman Ahmadani (Badin), Abu Haider Azad and Abbas Sarang (Jacobabad), Manzoor Ujjan and Hubdar Jageerani (Khairpur), Gohar Sindhi and Ali Bux Wafa Junejo (Shikarpur), Dargahi Gabol and Abdul Hayee Bhutto (Ghotki), Dr Qurban Jhatial, Maroo Jamali, Pavel Junejo and Manzoor Saher Soomro (Dadu), Fida Hussaini Sanjrani and Mithal Jiskani (Nawabshah), Malhar Sindhi, Mumtaz Lohar and Ustad Gul Mohammad Dayo (Larkana) and Amin Soomro Lakhai and Faiz Mohammad Faiz (Thatta).

Coordination secretaries for Hyderabad, Sanghar and Sukkur, namely Maula Bux Kaka, Ajaz Mangi and Baikhud Baloch have been elected unopposed.

The election committee announced that objections against the nominations could be filed between Nov 23 to 26 on which the committee would announce a decision on Nov 28.

The last date for withdrawal of nomination papers has been fixed at Dec 2 and the final list would be issued on Dec 4.

Parwano Bhatti presided over the SAS election committee meeting which was attended by Naseer Mirza and Noor Ghallo.
