NOWSHERA, Nov 20: Police on Thursday recovered money stolen from Risalpur branch of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) and arrested a security man within 24 hours after investigating the case, said a senior police official.

Speaking at a press conference here, SP investigation Liaqat Ali said that on Tuesday night the security man at Risalpur town branch of the NBP, Misri Khan, stole Rs3.648 million and 90 grams of gold ornaments from the safe.

But Misri Khan staged a drama and claimed that on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday some unidentified robbers entered the bank when he opened the door for going outside for urination, the SP added.
