PESHAWAR, Nov 20: NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani has approved Rs200 monthly charge allowance for SHOs of all police stations throughout the province.

This allowance is received by SHOs in Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan provinces.

The approval of Rs200 charge allowance for all SHOs in the frontier province is part of the chief minister’s pledge to undertake and look after the welfare of the frontier police officials and officers, an official press release said.

The government would bear additional expenditure of on account of this allowance. Some 412 SHOs of 206 police stations throughout the province would benefit from the raise.

The chief minister has already approved a raise of Rs291 in the monthly Ration Allowance of the frontier police force from Rs390 to Rs680.
