KARACHI: A four-member team will represent the country in the fourth Asian Team Event and fifth 6-Reds Snooker Championship which is being held at Abu Dhabi from May 18 to 26.

According to the Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Federation (PBSF), the quartet will attend a week-long training in the city from May 10 to 16 before their departure.

It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan performed miserably in the last event held at Kish Island. Both the Pakistan teams were knocked out by hosts Iran A and B outfits in the team event semi-finals. In 6-Reds, Asif and Hamza Akbar made exit in pre quarters while Shahram Changezi and Mohammad Sajjad could not go beyond the last eight.

Team: Mohammad Bilal, Mohammad Asif, Babar Masih and Asjad Iqbal.
