LAHORE: The fourth FMC International Men’s Squash Championship will be held at the Punjab Squash Complex here from May 2 to 7.

Punjab Squash Association president Amjad Noon while addressing the press conference said no international player will be taking part in the event.

He said it had become very difficult for them to run their organisation without sufficient funds and they needed help from the government.

Noon said the Punjab government had not fulfilled its promise of giving Rs20 million which it had made around two years back when a good number of legendary international players visited Lahore.

He requested the Punjab government to complete the squash complex in the Nishtar Sports Complex which was started in 1990 but later stopped due to some unknown reasons.
