ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs will be briefed on Monday on activities of India’s intelligence agency in Pakistan.
Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz is likely to brief the committee, headed by Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari, on the issue during an in-camera meeting.
Defence Minister Khawaja Asif had briefed the Senate Defence Committee earlier this month and Senate last week on the issue.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) released on March 29 a confessional video statement of the arrested Indian spy in which he had admitted to fomenting terrorism in Balochistan and Karachi.
In his confessional statement, the RAW agent had stated that his mission in Pakistan was to hold meetings with Baloch insurgents and carry out subversive activities.
