NAWABSHAH, Nov 17: A youth died at the casualty ward of the People’s Medical College Hospital here on Sunday due to non-availability of a ventilator.

Hassan Ali, 20, had attempted suicide by taking pesticides in Naushahro Feroze.

He was first taken to the Naushahro Feroze Civil Hospital from where he was sent to the PMCH. After reaching there, he recovered a little after receiving emergency treatment but later his respiratory tract got blocked.

He died as no ventilator was available at the casualty department of the PMCH.
