PESHAWAR, Nov 11: The provincial government has released Rs31.30 million to tehsil and town administration of all the 24 districts of the NWFP for the current month, said a notification issued here on Tuesday.

The amount has been released to the district governments as 90 per cent share in lieu of octroi share to tehsil/town administrations.

The Peshawar city government has received a sum of Rs10.68 million, out of the total 31.301 million that would be further distributed among four town councils.

According to the notification out of total amount of Rs1,316,000, payable to town council-I, Bannu, for the period from July to Oct, an amount of Rs840,800 had been adjusted against the share of town-II for the current month.

Abbottabad received Rs1,253,000, Batagram Rs150,000, Buner Rs75,000, Charasadda Rs960,300, Chitral Rs376,100, Lower Dir Rs297,800, Upper Dir Rs214,800, Dera Ismail Khan Rs1,694,700, Haripur Rs1,346,600, Hangu Rs821,400, Karak Rs321,000, Kohat Rs1,978,000, Kohistan Rs225,000, Laki Marwat Rs441,700, Malakand Rs284,100, Mansehra Rs862,700, Mardan Rs2,961,700, Nowshera Rs1,785,500, Swabi Rs842,200, Shangla Rs150,000, Swat Rs1,896,800 and Tank district Rs531,400.
