LAHORE, Nov 10: A man attempted to kill his wife by setting her afire in Sabzazar on Monday.
Kulsoom, 22, a mother of three, told police that she was not having a happy married life. Her husband Barkat Ali used to beat her over trivial issues, she added.
Kulsoom alleged that Barkat doused her with kerosene and set her ablaze.
She was admitted to the Mayo Hospital where her condition was stated to be precarious.
A case was registered against her absconding husband.
