UNLIKE cricket, football has been neglected in Pakistan and has been only an underdog. However, success in football can be replicated as well.

Players from around the world can be hired so that Pakistani players and foreign ones can play side by side, as it is done for English, Spanish and German football leagues. But due to terrorism, it can not be convened in Pakistan. So the Pakistan Football Federation can take a leaf out of the PCB’s book and choose a venue in some Gulf country like Qatar or Oman or the UAE.

I request the Pakistan Football Federation and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to promote football in Pakistan.
