LAHORE: The anti-terrorist/commando training of Punjab Rangers has been going on at the Rangers Battle School since Nov 2, 2015.

Over 100 selected personnel are undergoing toughest training regime comprising weapon handling, martial art, repelling, firing and snipers training, according to a press release.

Punjab Rangers Director-General Maj-Gen Umar Farooq Burki admired the training standards and asked them to keep up the hard work and prepare for the toughest of challenges.

He also appreciated the staff in conducting the training of soldiers.

On the culminate of field exercise, trainees carried out 150 kilometers endurance march which terminated at Wagha. During the last leg of march (36 Kms), alongwith other officers joined the commandos and marched along with them.

In the end, while interacting with the jawans, DG admired the training standards and asked them to keep up the hard work and prepare for the toughest of challenges as sweat in peace saves blood in war. He also appreciated the staff in conducting the training of soldiers to highest possible standards.
