ISLAMABAD: Pemra holds public hearing

ISLAMABAD, Nov 8: Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) on Saturday held a public hearing to award first two licenses for Director-to-Home (DTH) satellite-based channels.

The public hearing was attended by representatives of two leading television companies besides Pemra Chairman Mian Mohammad Javed, member Saleem Gul and other officials.

Earlier in an open bidding on October 21, Pemra had accepted the offers of these two companies.
