LAHORE: Romania’s Ambassador to Pakistan Emilian Ion on Saturday urged the Pakistani business community to evolve an effective and sector-specific strategy in collaboration with Romanian businessmen for increasing bilateral trade.

Talking to Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) office-bearers, the Romanian envoy said his country wants to strengthen business, educational and cultural relations with Pakistan.

He said Romanian investors were keen to step in joint ventures with their Pakistani counterparts and the two countries could enhance cooperation in the fields of agriculture, alternate energy sources and information technology.
