16 injured in clash

KHAIRPUR, Nov 7: Sixteen people were injured in a clash between two groups of Sehto clan in Setharja Bala village on Thursday.

Those injured — Amir Bukhsh, Mohammad Ali, Abdul Sattar, Naro Khan, Fazal Hussain, Kandero, Illahi Bukhsh, Aftab, Fida Hussain, Shahmir, Zahid Hussain, Irshad, Mohammad Ameen, Ashiq Hussain, Aqeel and Mohammad Yasin — were admitted to the Hingorja and Ranipur hospitals.

The condition of Amir Bukhsh, Mohammad Ali, Abdul Sattar, Illahi Bux, Shahmir and Aftab was said to be serious.

The police have been deployed in the village to avoid further clashes.

KILLED: A man, Ghous Bux Khokhar, 40, was killed by an armed man in Din Mohammad village near Kumb, Kot Diji taluka, on Thursday when he was loading a truck with banana bunches. The cause of the murder was said to be an enmity.
