COAS visits Hyderabad garrison

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif visited the Hyderabad Garri­son on Thursday, an ISPR press release said.

During his visit, the COAS met officers, troops and veterans of the formation.

He appreciated the formation for its good performance during operations, and reiterated that Pakistan Army would always respond to the call of the nation and come up to their expectations, may it be for the defence of the motherland or during natural calamities.

Gen Sharif while visiting the Sindh Regimental Centre laid a wreath at Yadgar-i-Shuhada and offered fateha.

Earlier, on arrival at Hyderabad, the COAS was received by Lt Gen Naveed Mukhtar, the Corps Commander.
