Warrants in Azam Tariq case issued

RAWALPINDI, Nov 4: A anti-terrorism court on Tuesday issued non-bailable arrest warrants against Allama Sibtain Kazmi secretary-general of Islami Tehrik and an ex-MNA from Jhang Amanullah Sial in the murder case of Maulana Azam Tariq MNA, his driver and three guards.

Both accused have been nominated in the FIR.

The Golra Police Islamabad registered the case. Deputy Superintendent Police Investigations Ishaq Warraich submitted before the ATC judge Safdar Hussain Malik that both accused have disappeared after the registration of the murder case against them. DSP feared they might flee abroad.—PPI
