IT is unfortunate that the initial screening test of the combined competitive examinations 2013 was held in Dec 2013 while the detailed descriptive papers conducted in April 2015 of 3,375 qualified candidates only.
Initially more than 20,000 candidates appeared but after the test that number fell to within 3,400.
It is quite harsh for the candidates that after a lapse of more than eight months the final results have not been announced. When authorities concerned were contacted about the matter, no solid reason was given for delaying the process.
However, insiders in the commission say that results were prepared in September. If that is so, it is beyond comprehension why the Sindh Public Service Commission is playing with the future of candidates who burnt the midnight oil to qualify for the 2013 combined competitive examinations. The result process of CSS does not take such a long time as this SPSC did. I request the chairman to announce the results at the earliest.
