Teachers demand salary

KHAIRPUR: The token hunger strike and sit-in of 314 male and female teachers of Khairpur continued on its 50th consecutive day on Saturday on the session court road in Khairpur.

The teachers have been protesting against non-payment of their salaries for the past 38 months.

They said that the Sindh government did not seem serious about resolving their problem.

They vowed to continue the protest until resolution of problems.
