Published November 1, 2003

KARACHI, Oct 31: Acting Nazim Tariq Hasan has decided to grant one month ration to the families of fishermen to save them from hardships during Ramazan.

The fishermen community had suffered owing to oil-spill on the beach, which also caused a decline in the fish catch.

Tariq Hasan, in a statement, said that he, with co-operation of some of his friends, had decided to give ration to the fishermen in view of their sufferings, and the distribution had already started.—PPI
