Woman dies in road accident

GHANGCHE, Oct 30: A woman died and Skardu station commander Brigadier Muneer Ahmad was seriously injured in a head-on collision between a car and a jeep near K-2 Flour Mills, Skardu, on Tuesday morning.

Commander Muneer Ahmad was coming from Skardu airport along with two women and when they reached near the hills a car coming from the opposite direction collided with the jeep. As a result, Ms Fatima died on the spot while the commander, his driver Mohammad Ibrahim and Fatima’s daughter received serious injuries.—APP
