These days, actress and model Gia Ali doesn’t do many television or film projects. But she’s acutely aware of what’s happening in the fraternity she’s a part of.

Last week, when someone asked her about the Karachi-Lahore divide vis-à-vis the films that are currently being made, she got a little worked up and commented anyone who talks of such a divide is trying to hatch a conspiracy against the showbiz community.

Well said, Gia A. However, if you must know, this ‘conspiracy’ exists for the past three to four decades now.
