ISLAMABAD, Oct 27: The All Parties Hurriat Conference, Azad Kashmir Chapter, on Monday staged a protest demonstration in front of the Indian High Commission.

The demonstrators later presented a memorandum to the officials at the United Nations Observers Office in Rawalpindi. They demanded early settlement of the long-standing Kashmir dispute.

The Kashmiri leaders demanded of UN Secretary General Kofi Annan to help create a congenial atmosphere in Indian occupied Kashmir for implementation of the UN resolutions.

Kashmiris throughout the world observe October 27 as black day to register their protest against Indian occupation of Jammu and Kashmir.
