RAWALPINDI, Oct 26: District Nazim Raja Tariq Kiani has warned the market committee members of action if they fail to control commodities prices in the markets.

According to an handout issued here by the district administration, Mr Kiani said the committee members should keep an eye on the stability of prices of commodities in future, otherwise, stern action would be taken against them under the relevant laws.

The district Nazim visited the ‘special bazaars’ established at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Haider Chowk and Committee Chowk on Sunday.

During the visit, Mr Kiani directed that the prices of tomatoes, basin, pulses, bananas, and Daal Masoor be reduced.
