KARACHI: A weeklong camp to select Customs team for the National Hockey Championship commenced at the Customs Preventive Sports Complex on Thursday.

According to camp commandant, Samsam Qadir, 40 players from different parts of the country reported in the camp for training.

He said a 20-member team will be selected at the end of camp which will participate in the national championship being held in the city next month.

Former international Mohammad Ali has been named head coach and he will be assisted by Zahid Ali Siddiqui and Kamil Hasan as assistant coach and camp coordinator respectively.
