LAHORE: Six men and three women are included in the Pakistan badminton team which has reached Bahrain to take part in back to back competitions being held there from Oct 28 to Nov 7.

First, Pakistan will face Bahrain in a series from Wednesday to Nov 1 and then it will participate in the Bahrain International Badminton Tournament from Nov 3 to 7.

Pakistani players will contest in men’s singles, doubles, women singles, doubles and mixed doubles.

Following players are participating in the events.

Men: Rizwan Azam, Kashif Sulehri, Awais Zahid, Murad Ali, Amir Saeed and Irfan Saeed Bhatti.

Women: Palwasha Bashir, Sara Mohmand and Mahoor Shahzad.

The PBF is also planning to send Pakistan team to Bangladesh to play in the Open International Challenge Tournament, being held there from Dec 1 to 5.
