Training for Pakistan Post staff

Published October 23, 2015

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Post has chalked out a comprehensive plan to conduct short training courses for its staff for improving their capacity and assuring quick service delivery.

An official of Pakistan Post Office (PPO) said they wanted to equip the department in accordance with international standards for capturing customer satisfaction and building their confidence as a speedy and accurate service provider in economical rates.

The department has devised a concrete policy for introducing modern technology like electronic money transfer, tracking system, and ensuring provision of postal information to people without botheration, he told APP.

The official said that their competitors invested heavy amount on advertisement but the only option for the post office is annual essay writing competition through which people are motivated to write and send their entries through post.

Although it’s not enough to grab the attention of the masses, it is the only way by which they are creating awareness among people about the benefits offered by the PPO.
