Karachi: going green

Published October 13, 2015

WE recently celebrated our Independence Day and decorated our country with green flags to show patriotism. Soon after Aug 14, green colour started to disappear slowly from our society.

This green colour represents nature, fertility, life, safety and hope. Why shouldn’t we permanently adopt this national colour by planting trees? Everyone should plant at least a single tree and look after it and we will get rid of environmental pollution, diseases and lack of rain by transforming Karachi into a green city.
