BRIDGETOWN (Barbados), Oct 19: Two 19-year-old fast bowlers and another who is 21 have been included in the West Indies team for their upcoming tour of Zimbabwe.

Ravi Rampaul, who turned 19 last month, was picked for the first time in the squad of 16 announced by the West Indies Cricket Board on Saturday.

He joins another 19-year-old, Jerome Taylor, and 21-year-old Fidel Edwards as three of the six fast bowlers for the tour from Oct 30 to Nov 30, which includes two Tests and five One-day Internationals.

A separate team for the following trip to South Africa would be chosen at a later date, the cricket board indicated. The South African tour is to run from Dec 3 to Feb 4, featuring four Tests and five One-day Internationals.

In other developments, former West Indies fast bowler Kenny Benjamin would be the assistant to coach Gus Logie. It also appointed Sunit Liebenberg, the wife of former South African Test opener Gerhard Lieberberg, as physiotherapist, a post she held during the World Cup in South Africa.

Both will remain through the tour of South Africa.
