2nd T20: Bowlers shine again as Pakistan take T20 series

Pakistan will look to seal the two-game T20 rubber against hosts Zimbabwe when the two teams face off at the Harare Sports Club.

The visitors took a 1-0 lead in the series when they had a nervy 13-run win in Sunday’s first T20 international, defending a total of 136.

Pakistan have made two changes to the squad from the 1st T20 with Mohammad Irfan and Mohammad Hafeez replacing Wahab Riaz and Mukhtar Ahmed.

They should gave sometime to settle Mukhtar Ahmad because his destructive batting can help win single handedly.,whereas hafeez without bowling is an ordinary batsman for T-20 format and in presence of Malik playing hafeez is not a good plan .

Afridi has failed time and again with both bat and ball hence he should be wise enough to retire now so that a new Captain is selected for WT20, before the PCB take any drastic action. On the part of PCB they should speak to him on the sidelines to announce his own retirement.

Once again current crop of young batsman continues to show suboptimal performance for this format. Hope bowlers again rescue the match. Top notch players in any field do not make any excuses. Delighted to see good form of Umar Akmal. perhaps different position in batting order ?

Shahid Afridi, my favorite must be heavily fined for his so worst performance not only as batsman but bowler as well whereas as captain he is supposed to be model and guide for his team players but instead of being a role model for them he has proved as utter failure. How many times he can be excused? Enough is enough.

Afridi is doing good and concentrating in commercials...plus tablighi career is also wide open for him. Afridi will have no place in the team if our team is ever selected on merit.

I believe Zimbabway is the weakest team? Though Pakistan won the rubber but they do not have any chance to win in world cup if they are going with the same combination, specially captain Shahid afridi who made two runs in both matches and gave so many runs while balling. He should retire with honors instead of continuing. I have yet to see weaker fielder than Ahmed Shehzad. Team management must see video of both matches and see his fielding which was dismal.

@Fahim Khan do you have any problem, that he's a tablighi. Stop finding different ways of criticising a personality, that's his personal life and he has the freedom to live it, who are you to criticise him on his personal life.
