NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: A woman riding a motorcycle driven by her father was stabbed to death by her brother apparently for honour on the Naushahro Feroze bypass on Wednesday.

Hameeda Naseer was being taken to Naushahro Feroze by her father, Abdul Sattar, for her production in the sessions court to record her statement in her freewill marriage case.

However, her brother, Abdul Jabbar, allegedly attacked her with a sharp-edged weapon on the way killing her on the spot, police said.

They said the suspect surrendered himself before the Bhiriya City police station after committing the crime.

His father was also arrested, they added.—Correspondent
