KOHAT: Four people, including a child, were killed and two injured in incidents of firing and house collapse here on Tuesday.

The police said that Mohammad Saad, 6, was going to tuition in mohallah Wazan when wall of a house fell and he was buried under it. He was taken to the Women and Children Hospital, but did not survive.

Farhan Ahmed, a resident of Nasratkhel, was killed by unknown persons when he was going to Mohammadzai on his motorcycle.

The Cantonment police registered a case against the unidentified people and started investigation.

In Dhoda, a farmer, Naeemullah, was shot dead by unknown attackers.

The Bilitang police have registered the case. Similarly, in Mosam Khan Banda one Niamatullah Khan allegedly killed Sar Buland Khan. A pedestrian, Shaheen Bibi, was also injured in the incident. She was taken to the KDA hospital.

Meanwhile, a rival group shot and injured a tribesman and later kidnapped him from Orakzai Banda on the Indus Highway here on Tuesday.

Biltang police said that as reported Yaqoob Khan, Jannat Mir, Sajid Khan and Qazi Rehman, residents of Jarma, came to Orakzai Banda in cars and allegedly opened fire on Aziz Khan, who belonged Kurram Agency.

Later, they kidnapped Aziz Khan in an injured condition.

The police, however, could not get any clue to the culprits.
