ISLAMABAD: The capital police on Friday arrested 28 outlaws from across the city, and recovered vehicles, narcotics, alcohol, and weapons from their possession.

Khanna police officials arrested two robbers and recovered two motorcycles from their possession. Besides, the officials recovered 500 grams of hashish from a drug dealer.

Bhara Kahu police arrested an individual allegedly involved in robberies, and recovered valuables.

Karachi Company police intercepted a vehicle in G-8/4. Though the inmates of the car escaped, police recovered 25 litres of alcohol from the vehicle.

Industrial area police arrested two persons and recovered two pistols and ammunition from them, while Sabzi Mandi police also recovered a pistol from a man.

Police officials took into custody an Afghan national residing in the country illegally.

Aabpara police put three women behind bars for being involved in a robbery and recovered cash from their possession, while Noon police recovered 120 grams of heroin from a person. Shahzad Town police recovered a pistol from a man, and Nilor police arrested two individuals after finding alcohol in their possession. Lohi Baher police also arrested a drug dealer, and recovered 500 grams of hashish. — Staff Reporter
