ISLAMABAD: Thundershowers are expected at isolated locations in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, Mardan, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Zhob divisions, Fata and Kashmir on Sunday, while hot and humid weather is predicted in other parts of the country.

The Meteorological Department has reported seasonal low lies over North Balochistan and adjoining areas, with its trough extending eastward.

Weak monsoon currents are penetrating into central parts of the country, and a shallow westerly trough is still present over Fata adjoining areas of Balochistan.

Over the last 24 hours, rainfall and thundershowers have occurred at scattered locations in Kashmir, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar divisions, as well as as in isolated locations in D.I. Khan, Multan, Gujranwala, D.G. Khan, Faisalabad divisions, upper FATA, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

The weather has remained hot and humid elsewhere in the country.—APP
