LAHORE: PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Husain has said no opposition political party should contest by-election in the presence of the Election Commission.

Chaudhry Shujaat felicitated PTI Chairman Imran Khan “on getting stolen mandate recovered and exposing the thieves”.

Talking to reporters here on Thursday, he said all opposition parties should completely boycott the by-election till the resignation of the four provincial members of the ECP.

Regarding decisions of the election tribunals, he said three seats would not affect the system but the real thing was exposing the “mandate thieves”.

“Now Imran Khan should pay full attention to getting mandate thieves punished,” Shujaat said adding this should also be decided as to who started horse trading, mandate theft, mandate purchasing and commission in politics of Pakistan.
